Die Bluegrass Night am kommenden Mittwoch, 16.05.2012, ist komplett ausverkauft. Vorbestellungen über die Homepage sind nun nicht mehr möglich.

Es wird, wie schon im Vorjahr, eine Video-/Tonübertragung nach draußen geben. Auch für Speis und Trank ist vor dem Gemeinschaftshaus gesorgt. Sollte das Wetter gut sein, empfiehlt es sich auf jeden Fall vorbei zu kommen. Die Stimmung ist auf dem gesamten Gelände großartig und sicher gibt es Gelegenheit, einen Blick in den gefüllten Konzertsaal zu werfen. Vielleicht wird auch vor und nach dem Festival gejammt.

Wir freuen uns auf den großartigen Abend und darüber, dass sich wieder einmal gezeigt hat: Bluegrass rules!!

Actually, our upcoming trip to Nashville should be part of the april newsletter. But yesterdays incoming message couldn't wait to be told on our homepage. That's how it looks when a german bluegrass band will be invited to play at the IBMAs World of bluegrass week in Nashville / Tennessee. You will recieved a biiiiig letter, opened it up and on the letters head shines "Congratulations". Here's the official list of the invited bands, with whom we could count ourselves.

Surrounded by well-known artists from the united states, we are expected on main stage at the Nashville Convention Center on 24th of september. Exact date and time will be announced. Our little band is in a kind of shock. The bottles of champagne we enjoyed yesterday rings in our heads and we will need some time to understand what happens to us. An invitation like this is very special - even for an american band - even more for a bluegrass band from germany. It feels a little bit like we're grammy nominated. So we will celebrate these special news for some days. Some of us were last seen sober yesterday morning. Happy greetings to all our fans.

It's unbelievable... the new bluegrass year is already three months old. It has happen a lot in this time and Covered Grass has big plans for 2012. The upcoming newsletter would tell about it. One event - the biggest bluegrass concert in our area - will rise up in a few weeks.

The 3. International Bluegrass Night Berkenroth

The audience will await fantastic musicians from the united states, belgium and germay. The ticket pre-order-sale is running good and we have to advice that it is absolutely recommended to use the pre-order. No one should stands in front of closed doors because of sell-out tickets. Also for this special night in upcoming may we rehearses our new songs. About that kind of "work" tells this short movie. On april the 28th Covered Grass will play being part of the Overather Kulturfrühling at the restaurant Stadtmitte in Overath. While you enjoy amazing food and drinks there will be some guys add real bluegrass flavour to your dinner. The cozy surrounding of that restaurant invites to relax, listen and sing with us. We can't await to play in our local area again and looking foeward to meet you there.

Doors open from 06:00 pm, music starts 09:00 pm. Everybody who wants to dine without that musical candy should come earlier. It's strongly recommended to reseve table for dinner.
